Dr. Tseng

Dr. Hsu-Ting Tseng

Dr. Hsu-Ting Tseng received his M.S. in 2001 and his Ph.D. in 2011, in electrical engineering from the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan, (R.O.C.). Before coming to FEEC, Hsu-Tseng had been an electrical engineering professional at the Southern Taiwan Science Park Bureau in the Ministry of Science and Technology where he had served since 2002. Dr. Hsu-Ting was recognized by the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering (CIEE), as an outstanding electrical engineer. In 2015, Dr. Tseng was also reverd as IEEE Transactions' exceptional reviewer on Power Delivery.

Research Areas:

Current research interests include power electronics-based techniques to restrain power system transient phenomena, some of which are fault current, transformer inrush and capacitor switching transients.
Dr.Yaofei Han

Dr. Yaofei Han

Dr. Yaofei Han received his M.S. in 2005 and his Ph.D. in 2010, in power electronics and power drives from China University of Mining and Technology. Before coming to FEEC as a visiting scholar, Yaofei had been an associate professor at Henan University of Urban Construction, (HUUC), serving in this capacity since 2010. Currently, Dr. Han is the vice director of the College of Electrical Engineering and Henan Engineering Research Center for the Control of Power Transmission and Conversion, where he has also received special recognition as a Henan Backbone Young Teacher.

Dr. Jinwu Gong

Dr. Jinwu Gong

Dr. Jinwu Gong received his M.S. in 2006 and his Ph.D. in 2012 in electrical engineering from Wuhan University (WHU). Before coming to FEEC as a visiting professor, Jinwu Gong had been an associate professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Wuhan University.
