A solar shed and two solar racks with a total of 10 PV panels are used to study maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control function of different power conditioning system designs. The studies include (a) startup and (b) transient response of MPPT for different PCS designs. The transient condition can be created by covering the cells with hand objects.
